Heritage Listed House Repair
The Problem
A significant heritage listed house had severe cracking throughout its walls, lintels and structural areas. Mr Crack determined the house had subsided some time ago, hence the cracks were deemed to not require footing stabilisation or foundation jacking. They simply needed effective repair and make good. Once repaired and made secure the walls would return to equal or greater than original strength.
The Solution
The Mr Crack team cleared the affected areas and stripped all exposed cracks back to the original masonry. Once identified a combination of crack stitching and Helical ties was used to remediate all instances of cracks and instability.
The Result
The owners were delighted that the works were undertaken with no need to demolish and rebuild saving thousands in cost and time, with the end result being better than the houses original construction.
