HigginBotham Hall Wall Resto
The Problem
Higginbotham Hall is the oldest civil building in Brighton, Melbourne. Built in the 1850’s the Heritage listed Historic Civil building required multiple building rehabilitation services. The outer walls and concrete render had severe cracking caused by years of building subsiding and footing movement.
The Solution
Various techniques and technologies were used. Helical wall crack stitching, building stabilisation, Roof repair and WetSuit® Waterproofing. As well as Masonry works to remedy concrete cancer and rehab structural components.
The Result
All aspects of the project were co-ordinated and deployed by Mr Crack Fix as sole contractor. Works were approved by Heritage Victoria and all site OH&S requirements and insurances adhered to. Job completed as quoted, no variations.
